I Had Buyers on a Listing Search for Over a YEAR!

The reason I wanted to mention this, is that sometimes as a buyer you need to see what is out there to determine what you really want and that IS OKAY. These buyers did not go out and see everything that came up but they watched, they got familiar with the inventory and we even adjusted their search criteria as they narrowed down what they wanted. Once they did that they were able to get out and see the short list of homes and act quickly and with confidence!

The key takeaway here is that you do not need to get out looking at homes before you are ready. It is a waste of your time and energy but what you can do is see what is out there, get knowledgeable about the location and type of home you want, watch the market and get your financial house in order. Be in a position to pounce when the time is right, when it feels good and you find what you are looking for.
